GetSET joins SSL for their first Annual Space Fair

It was a great opportunity for the GetSET girls to reconnect and experience a working environment.

GetSET was invited by Space Systems Loral (SSL) to attend the first annual Space Fair at their facility in Palo Alto on Saturday December 1st. Activities included a Satellite Parts Scavenger Hunt, a Factory Satellite tour, lunch and a panel of SSL Engineers who shared their personal experience.

The women engineers inspired the attendees by telling their personal stories about how they decided to pursue engineering and how they got where they are today. The panel included a Senior Vice President of Program Management, a Structures Design Manager, Payload Engineer, Mechanical Engineer and Additive Manufacturing Manager.
